Tuesday Tip ~ Week 1

VMTeam Tuesday Tip

Don't you hate it when you find a great buy but the price is written on the item with permanent marker?

Here's the solution:

Put a small amount of hand sanitizer on what is written in permanent marker...let sit until you begin to see the ink dissolve.

Wipe the sanitizer off and reapply if necessary.

Don't apply sanitizer to any marking on the piece just on the permanent marker!

  1. Baking soda mixed with a bit of water works super, super well for removing marker stains :)

  2. These are helpful tips! I get so frustrated with the permanent marker pricing that I end up not buying the items that are marked.

  3. A little rubbing alcohol works wonders too! I just recently used that to remove marker from a plastic cover.

  4. I have great luck with the magic eraser (not the great value brand at Walmart though--that one doesn't work!)

  5. Super tip - I'd never heard of it. :)

I was going to suggest the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, but I see Jill already did. :) Works great if it's a hard surface -- like the bottom of a shoe.

  6. Great tips everyone!!
